Torsodde

At the northernmost part of Venø, Nørskov Vig, including the tongues Torsodde and Bradser Odde, became a sanctuary the 1st of April 1987 with no access between 1st of April and 15th of July (160 hectares). At the Nørskov Vig area birds such as Eurasian oystercatcher, sea gulls and herring gulls breed. Also smaller numbers of shellduck, mallard, ringed plover, breasted merganser, lapwing, little tern  A couple of eiders ,which are rare in western Jutland, nest here as well.
